Butler 3, North Hills 1 - The Golden Tornado (3-2, 1-0) won this section match 25-10, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20 as Amy Achesinski had 13 kills and two blocks, Becky Smith added 10 kills, Stephanie Mock 11 digs and Katie Willison 23 assists and three aces.
Butler (3-2) rolled to a 25-7, 25-5, 25-14 win over New Castle's first-year program.
Amy Achesinski had 10 kills and Becky Smith had seven kills and four blocks to lead Butler to a 25-18, 25-12, 25-17 sweep over the Hampton Talbots. Ashley Grenet added six kills and five digs for the Golden Tornado.
Butler 3, New Castle 0 — On Senior Night, Amy Achesinski had eight kills, two blocks and one ace, and Yuki Schaper had two kills, six digs and four aces as the Golden Tornado rolled to a 25-4, 25-5, 25-7 victory.
Butler (4-5) will travels to Seneca Valley next. A win over the Raiders will qualify Butler for the upcoming WPIAL playoffs.

Butler 3, Hampton 1 - Achesinski had 21 kills and two blocks, Abby Herrit had 17 kills and 13 digs and Yuki Schaper had 35 digs in the win for the Tornado (2-2) . The Butler JV team won 2-0.
Kala Schnur handles the ball in a match with North Hills. Schnur recorded 21 assists as the Golden Tornado beat the Indians 3-0.

- Kala Schnur totaled 21 assists and Ashleigh Huey contributed 16 digs and seven kills to lead Butler to the sweep by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-19. Amy Achesinski added five blocks and four kills, and Kelly Crater had 14 digs.
