Butler hockey snares key win

Ben Rodgers scored twice to pace Butler’s hockey team in a crucial 5-2 victory over Canon-McMillan at Ice Connection. 
The win ties the Golden Tornado (6-8-1) with Pine-Richland for seventh place in PIHL Class AAA. The top eight teams will qualify for the playoffs. 
Garet Banner, Taite Dusheck and Jerome Oliver Jr. each added a goal for Butler while Nick Farmerie had 19 saves
