over Seneca Valley.

WEXFORD — Butler's Matt Slamecka finished second and
Evan Kowalski placed third at the boys tennis
sectional singles finals at North Allegheny High School.
2007
Butler
freshman Matt Slamecka finished second in the
under-18 division of the USTAGreensburg Junior Thanksgiving Classic tennis
tournament at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
Playing up from his under-16 age division, Slamecka defeated Cameron Dolansky
6-0, 6-0, Matthew Hoch 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 and Jeff Nuhfer 6-3, 4-6, 10-3 before
bowing to top-seeded Vignesh Iyer 6-2, 6-3 in the finals.
