Comodore Perry Tournament...

The Butler wrestling team captured first place at the Commodore Perry Duals Saturday.
The Golden Tornado, who placed second at the event in 2008, dominated the competition this year by defeating Port Allegany (58-3), Laurel (77-3) Youngsville (69-6), Franklin (54-15) and Maplewood in the final, 60-15.
" It was a good chance to get in five matches, though the competition
wasn't quite what it was last year," said Butler coach Scott Stoner. "Throughout the lineup, we were pretty solid."
The Golden Tornado amassed a 60-10 record in individual matches.
Going a perfect 5-0 for Butler were: Blake Caudill (three pins), Nick Sutton, Cody Hartman (four pins), Mike Crawford (four pins), Matt Pribis (one pin), Cole Baxter (four pins), Mike Scialabba (two pins) and Chris White (three pins).
Three Tornado wrestlers went 4-1: Brandon Bauer, Zach Reges and Zach Collins.
Eric Tuck and Dakoda Collins both 3-2.
" Caudill at 103 (pounds) and Collins at 125, they've been impressive as freshmen," said Stoner. "People will be hearing a lot about them."
